I love the glow of white flowers and also scented ones that light up the night and send their fragrance on the wind. Your butterfly is a female Cabbage white.

It sounds like you have alata nicotiana. I only have one and I thought it would be taller. Your night garden must be paradise to the local pollinators. :)

I do have Nicotiana alata and you must have N. sylvestris, which I also grow. It flowers a bit later, not as natural looking as N. alata. But super fragrant too, and a bit different than the latter.
