Ah, but do you remember the last time the oak trees masted like this? Snowmageddon!

I noticed the acorns and the persimmons and walnuts. It's hard to know if it was our wet year or a sign of things to come. We shall see.

That was such a fun read. Thank you. We have finally landed in Prescott Az and it’s a Virginia gardeners learning curve but what fun it is turning out to be. Designing my base garden now. Will send pix if we get it all in place before end of November. Leaves turning here, looks like Va. keep the fun reads coming!

How exciting to think of new possibilities. I'm sure you will love it there, please send me pictures of your garden. I'm thinking salvias, hardy succulents and grasses.

You of course are dead on target! Think we finally have the base plan in place. Will send it on!
